River Reeves Foundation

On 13th February 2016 River was killed alongside his Viola Beach band mates and manager in Sweden as they travelled back to Stockholm following their first European gig. River’s family and friends are determined that his legacy, through the foundation, will be to create ‘alternate futures’ for young people across Warrington. Financial support is provided for those from less affluent backgrounds to help make their dreams and ambitions within the performing and creative arts a reality.

The Shannon Bradshaw trust

In 2002 Shannon, a very happy and healthy little girl was diagnosed with a life threatening condition called Aplastic Anaemia. She was just 7 years of age.A bone marrow transplant was her only hope of a cure, A search for a donor resulted in over 7000 people joining the Anthony Nolan Trust register. Tragically, by the time a perfect match was found Shannon was too ill to have the life saving operation and just 5 short months after first diagnosis Shannon lost her very brave battle. The charity aims to help other children and their families who find themselves in this very sad situation.
